Review: Biore Marshmallow Whip Acne Care Facial Wash

I picked up this refill pack at a local drug store in Tokyo. A month ago, it was hot and humid so this was perfect. There are four variations for different types of skin from the Marshmallow Whip line. I love that they sell refill packs because it is more environmentally friendly and they take up less space my suitcase. Refill packs are only available in Japan and Singapore so if you have a chance to visit remember to stock up.  

With one pump, the facial wash dispenses into a dense foam that lasts until you finish massaging it all around your face. The scent is very refreshing and the foam is easy to rinse off. My skin did not feel tight afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft my skin felt because most acne facial cleansers have anti-bacterial ingredients which tend to dry out skin. It does a good job removing sunscreen and light makeup, but not so much for waterproof mascara. I highly recommend this for the second step if you double cleanse.

Price: I paid about 398 Yen for the refill. The bottle is about 598 Yen, but every economical and effective.
